Never performed before? Perfect. Seasoned actor? Also great. All you need is a bit of curiosity and a willingness to play. Expect hands-on activities, lively discussions, and plenty of laughter.

Run by Theatre Directors and OPT Co-Directors, Emma Webb and Lizzy McBain, with additional expert tutors.
Open to all adults & young people aged 11+
(Ages 11-15 will require a parent / guardian to participate in the workshop as well with a paid ticket)

The Witches' Mark: Magic, Ritual & Prophecy in Shakespeare.
Explore the role of the witches in Macbeth, transformation & casting spells.
2-4.30pm: Behind the Curtain: Unveiling Shakespeare's Plays Within Plays
Join our travelling troupe of rude mechanicals—crafting mini classics on the fly!
Wednesday 23rd
2-4.30 pm: Put a Sonnet in your Bonnet
Explore the imagery & language of Shakespeare’s sonnets through games, improvisation and ensemble-crafted scenes.
6.00 - 8.30pm: Songs of the Storm
A Tempest-Inspired Singing and Movement workshop
Thursday 24th
10.30 - 1pm: Star Crossed Party Time!
Enter the Capulet’s party. Create a ballroom scene and weave some party text within!
2- 4.30pm: Diaries and Letters of Romeo & Juliet
Dig into the back story to R&J through a beautiful cacophony of ‘i wish and what if’s!
Friday 25th
2 - 6pm: Open rehearsal time
A guided rehearsal time to rehearse your acts for the open mic night! (we will be in contact separately with all attendees about this nearer the time)
7 - 9.30pm: Open Mic and Supper.
Bring a short piece of Shakespeare inspired poetry, song or text to share at our supper (this is a separate event to book on eventbrite)
