Rewley Road Fire Station is pleased to invite members of the public to its upcoming Open Doors Day—an engaging and informative event offering a rare opportunity to explore behind the scenes of a working fire station. Throughout the day, visitors will be welcomed by operational crews and staff who will provide guided tours of the station, share insights into the day-to-day responsibilities of a modern firefighter, and offer valuable fire safety advice. The event will also feature demonstrations of fire and rescue techniques, different games and challenges, refreshments, along with the chance to view emergency vehicles and equipment up close. This event is designed to appeal to all ages and provides an excellent opportunity to learn more about the vital work carried out by Oxfordshire Fire and Rescue Service. Whether you are interested in a potential career in the fire service or simply wish to gain a better understanding of its role in the community, we encourage you to attend.
