The accommodation was clean and warm with all the basics available.
The duty manager was very helpful with our booking and facilitated a change request without quibble. The other staff were as equally helpful and cheerful, especially Santos. Overall they made our stay easy with the service being above our expectations.

Not been to a Travelodge before but thought to give it a try. Expected it to be as you see on advertising. Clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful; struggled getting connected, kept having to go back 3 times as key did not work on door with luggage. Not particularly impressed you have to pay for parking. Food awful not because of the cooking but because of the I ingredients they used. I am fussy about healthy ingredients like a basic potato , beef Pattie, bun but all were awful. I stress the staff did the best they could and were friendly. Passages smell like old cigarette smoke- assume carpets need replacing. Internet access requires your date of birth, email and telephone number. Is this a new thing and they can use it for advertising and marketing purposes and you don’t have an option to decline. That can’t be right. Invasion of my data protection. And you had to pay for it.

Stayed in a super room as that's all they had. Couldn't see any difference. Having to pay extra for wifi is ridiculous these days. Location is right next to the park and ride so very handy. Staff friendly. Car park too small, again having to pay extra is not on when you are paying to stay.

Stayed at this hotel on 22/01/25.

Room no. 10 smelled like a wet dog. The window was open. The room was freezing. The AC was not working. No phone in the room to call reception.

Room change requested. Now room no. 14. No problem with smell. AC still not working. No phone to call reception. At reception I felt no consideration for comfort or care. I was given an electric heater for the room. When opening the bed to sleep, my bed had two mattress covers and no sheet. I had to make the bed myself.

This is not the type of experience I would expect from a hotel

5 minute walk to the excellent park and ride, £4 for 2 adults return. Nice clean room, shower, no bath. Quiet, considering proximity to the main road. Loads of parking spaces.
Bar is small but reasonably stocked. Staff polite too.
