A quirky hotel with lots of staircases and levels which I like but others may not. My room was nicely appointed with a very comfortable bed and a sleek modernised en suite. Unlike many similar room-only hotels this has a 24 hour manned reception desk. Not cheap to stay but a lot cheaper than most hotels in central Oxford and as close to it all as you can be. I would happily stay here again.

I stayed for 2 nights, the location and staff were great. My only complaint is the door uses a physical key to open from outside and inside! I would suggest a lock for the inside since it took a few minutes to unlock. Possible fire hazard.

This hotel is on Broad Street in Oxford. It is very convenient if visiting colleges and any of the central sites and museums. It is just 15 minutes walk from the railway station. There are no lifts and the stairs are narrow - so not the best choice if you are disabled but otherwise it is excellent and very good value for money. I had a room in the back with a view over rooftops. It was lovely and quiet and, with a comfy bed, I slept really well. There is no restaurant but they give a 10% discount to Theo's cafe, which is next door. Oxford has lots of places to eat so it is not a problem. Reception is staffed at all times.

Such a great hotel to stay in for Oxford got so many restaurants and shops near by and the university is so close as well! Big rooms with nice view and excellent service. The only reason why I give it 4 stars is because it doesn’t have a lift which can make it difficult for those who can’t climb stairs but other than that very good price. Will stay again!
