My stay here at Oxford Coach and Horses was, sadly, only for one night. I arrived way earlier than check-in time because I was on a solo trip and coming from London. I wasn’t sure how long it would take me to get there. Sylvia welcomed me with open arms and fed me even though my breakfast wasn’t supposed to happen until the next day. I had an injury on my thumb and she took such good care of me, giving me ice, driving me to my scheduled excursion and even to the airport when it was time to leave. She wouldn’t let me carry my luggage because of my injury, and as it turned out once I arrived back in the states I was told that I had a torn ligament and I had to have surgery. She was like a guardian angel. The Oxford Coach and Horses is a lovely place to stay. The rooms are beautiful and clean. But the best part is the owner, Sylvia. You will never find a person who is more kind. I was so blessed to meet her on my travels.
