Within walking distance of city centre (15mins). Easy check in and warm welcome. The rooms are clean and have good amenities.
The main issue with our stay is the noise from rooms above. Creaking floors and unfortunately the guest above us seemed to be entering the worlds loudest snoring competition. We were in room 12 which is close to front door so could hear people coming back late. So if you book a room here make sure you’re not in ground floor.

Stayed here for two nights. Very easy to check in. There is limited free parking to the back. The room was spacious with a modern shower room and toilet. No problems with hot water and had a powerful shower. The room had a working TV, kettle with tea, coffee, milk and hot chocolate.

There are easily accessible irons, books and more tea, coffee etc downstairs by the back door.

The only negative was a lack of bath towels as the room only had one.

Overall We had a pleasant stay. It's in a good location and it's not bad for the price.

Location is within easy walk of central Oxford, but there are also frequent buses. Easy to get in and out as on the Abingdon Road so avoids the city centre and the major works between the A34 and the train station. Car park is basic but we arrived early to get a space. Beds very comfortable. Room 8 was quiet at the back. We were welcomed by the host - very relaxed and dry sense of humour.

Great location, really close to the city centre. Car park is small, we were unfortunate enough to get blocked in by a very inconsiderate driver, which meant our 4am leaving plan was delayed by 1 1/2 hours, we had quick checked out, so couldn't get back into the guest house and could not contact management. Rooms are a good size but not the greatest quality, carpet is cheap and furniture has seen better days. Noise from the floor above was infuriating, the floor boards are very noisy and it sounded like the person above was doing a half marathon around their room.

I booked the hotel for one night in the second week of this September from booking.com. It had decent ratings, unfortunately the experience was not that great.
They don't have a regular reception, but someone can receive you till 6pm for check-in.

The room was fairly nice. However there was no hot water in the shower and it was fairly cold during my visit. I dealt with it because it was just one night. But it surely wasn't a nice experience since I was there for work. There was also a weird odor coming from the bathroom.
They didn't leave any coffee or tea in the room but I found some on a table at the end of the entrance hall.

The hotel itself is probably 15 minutes away from the center. And the area seems ok. It's ok for one night but I am not sure what it would be like if you stayed for longer. I probably won't book that place again.
