Booked what appeared to be a charming guest house in town. Musty, hot and stale. Mold in the shower, shades that did not work, linens that were dusty and damp smelling. Pillows flat and mattress lumpy, old, stained and uncomfortable. Cobwebs and dust on woodbeams above bed. Fan non fuctional but likely because it would push dust down on bed. Clearly, one is not welcome to stay more than a night as there is absolutely nowhere to hang or store belongings.
Pluses, wifi, in room safe and location in town.
Decor is eclectic and has a quirky charm.

Room was great, only issue is no way of regulating the temperature in there, if there is, it's not obvious. We were fried.

Absolutely perfect. Will be using again in future. Could not wish for better accommodation. So central to everything. Warm cosy clean and superb decor.
When you arrive it’s all a bit strange as you enter the building through a bike shop so good to know this before you arrive thanks to reviews at least you are prepared. However you get the wow factor when you enter the amazing building which has been superbly renovated for the 3 accommodations upstairs.
We had a lovely 2 night stay, slept well comfy bed and no disturbance.
Entry was easy, enter codes supplied over phone by the reception at the Hotel.
We used park and ride and saved a huge amount of money on parking for two days. The No 2 bus stops are just a few minutes walk around the corner. So pleased with this booking 10/10 loved it.
Hairdryer, ironing board, tea coffee milk, mini fridge, coffee percolator. Bathroom kitted out well, excellent shower area, lovely towels and toiletries superb. Wifi good.

Lovely place to stay - really nicely furnished, comfortable bed and great amenities - hairdryer, iron, fridge, wine glasses, bottle opener.
We loved it - location is brilliant too.
The only thing that could be improved is a longer shower screen as it is impossible to shower without getting the bathroom floor soaking wet!

We used the "just park" app and found a parking spot just a 7min walk away for £36 for two nights - no idea if that's good value or not, but I had read that some car parks are that for an overnight.

They cancelled our reservation a day before we arrived for a pretend building water issue. They collected our payment 3 days before and told us they would credit it in full. It’s been over 10 days and no credit was issued. I wrote to them 3 times…no answer!
It was booked via Booking.com and they’re not helping either.
It’s a scam Hôtel….DON’T GO There!
