The Courtyard Oxford City Centre isn't your typical Courtyard, it feels like an Autograph Collection with a picture-perfect rooftop and river flowing right outside the hotel. The staff were incredible; they acknowledged me by name in the hallway, even as the hotel was at capacity for a conference. Josh at the front desk is the best. It is at a perfect location, walkable to everything in town, and if you happen to be visiting during an event, you can redeem points at 3-4 cents per point, given the limited number of hotels and high rates in Oxford.
Sorry I didn't get photos of my room. One thing to note, the rooms are small but as are all hotels in the city.

The hotel was in the core of Oxford, so it was easy to walk everywhere. The shopping mall, Westgate, was only 5 min away by walk. The view from our window inside our room was really nice. There was no pool, but there was a rooftop terrace, which was nice to have some drinks in the evening. The breakfast buffet was very filling and had many varieties of food. The receptionists and chefs were very considerate, kind and helpful. I would recommend this hotel to my family and friends for sure .

Could be the best front desk staff I have encountered and I recently retired from a 45 year hotel career. Extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Made me feel like a very valued guest. We just spent one night and it was excellent. Room was spacious, clean and comfortable.

Beautiful stay at the Marriott Courtyard hotel in Oxford City Center. Fantastic location, a couple of minutes walk from a shopping centre with all touristy sites close by but beyond that, was the incredible service. The front desk went above and beyond for our stay and made my children feel like VIPs with Easter treats and surprises that had them smiling from the go. We were also organised interconnecting rooms for our children. Hari on the catering side offered great hospitality and remembered that my daughter has a nut allergy when we came down for breakfast and walked us through the breakfast selection to explain everything. The staff were just superb from start to finish and would highly recommend the hotel. There is also a wonderful terrace on the 5th floor with a view of Oxford castle and a happy hour where you can take drinks up to enjoy. Thank you so much to the team for our wonderful stay and for making my kids Easter weekend feel so special!

We stayed here for a couple of nights recently and although we arrived earlier than the advised check-in we were greeted by a friendly, chatty and funny guy on reception (whose name we didn't get unfortunately but he's a credit to the place). We were given a free upgrade which was a welcome, unexpected bonus and allowed to check in early and some very useful tips on where to go.
The room was good and clean, the breakfast decent and all staff friendly and helpful. We couldn't fault this hotel and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.
