Host was friendly and welcoming when greeting us, recommended a nice walk along the river and showed us where the bus stop to the city centre was. Good location - bus stop just across the road and only £4 for a day return to the city centre, but also a nice walk if you don't mind the slight distance. Appreciated the kitchenette - breakfast included as we booked direct, and heated up soup in the microwave for tea. Daily housekeeping was also appreciated - room was clean and comfortable!
Would have liked extra pillows (I'm sure we would've been provided with more if we asked but we were too shy, so would have been nice to have them available already). Could also have done with a separate hand soap rather than an all-in-one hand/body/hair bar - appreciate the sentiment of reducing waste but an extra bar of soap would have been nice.
Overall, had a lovely time and would recommend!
