And when we took it to the till we were told, "Oh, it's not on the system, I can't sell it to you." Just like that.
We explained that we'd been looking for it for ages, we were just visiting for the day, could she please find a solution, and she then phoned the shop owner and explained the situation. We thought surely the Asian owner will understand and find a solution. We even offered to pay extra (we know what it retails for). And yet the same negative answer came back.
So it seems they don't want to sell their goods, or take care of their customers. Very poor. I also saw the recent review below about out of date stock being left on their shelves even after a customer complained and got a refund. This 100% fits with our experience.
