Trays of homemade Bakewell tarts, Chelsea buns, and mini quiches are just some of the delights that greet you at Pickle & Lime on Botley Road. This popular spot, originally a greengrocer, has evolved into a bustling cafe and deli, known for its extensive bread offering and enticing sandwich menu. Top chef Anthony Skeats, formerly of Sir Charles Napier and The Punter, is behind the bakery, bringing his passion and years of experience to create treats like caramelised onion brioche buns and apricot and almond tarts. Whether you're after a quick coffee, a freshly made sandwich, or a selection of delicious cakes, Pickle & Lime aims to offer something different this side of Oxford.

The friendly staff and great service are frequently praised by visitors, adding to the welcoming atmosphere of this local favourite. great selection of fresh veg, cheese and butter. I've had some really lovely pasta sauces from here when i was feeling lazy. the staff are really helpful and friendly. The carefully curated stock leans towards waitrose prices but the money goes locally which is a no brainer. The fresh veg is definately superior to the supermarket's. very lucky to have this on my door step.
