Best fish and chips I’ve had, the place was so clean and sharp looking and the customer service was perfect.
Really generous, freshly cooked, and would 100% reccomend.

Ordered cheesy chips with ketchup for my daughter.....there was so much sauce that she couldn't eat it. The attitude was "you asked for sauce".....we did indeed but not enough sauce for four people!! So I ended up having to sort another meal for my daughter. Not good customer service.

Went to jakes chippy this evening and got sausage in batter chips and curry sauce ,omg the curry sauce is amazing best one I have ever tasted from a fish and chip shop , friendly Staff which is lovely

Third time my daughter has got food poisoning from here. She ate chicken strips, can only think the reason now is because they are making food it isn’t selling as much as it was due to the construction taking place in Blackbird Leys but as the shop doesn’t want to throw away food that hasn’t been sold within the time they are still selling it to customers. As I work for the council I will be informing them as this is unacceptable. Food hygiene should be outstanding!!

Would of given zero stars. Just had my food delivered. The chicken was not cooked properly, still quite raw. The chips were okay. The chicken wings were like they had been fried and left in oil and then refried. Would not recommend or go back

I just got back from Jakes, I brought two pieces of chicken and chips. Plus cheese burger and fries with salad. I was charged £16.99, anyway I get back to and thought it was best to sample the food. The chicken was not cooked through and the chip were fried in dirty oil. Definitely, was over charged and gave the disgusting food back, didn't even stop to get a refund. Honestly, there level of food care is almost zero.

the best chicken shop in England. Boss man is one of a kind a blessing apon this appalling society best spicy wings I’ve ever had, boss deserves to be living in 10* Vila in the mountains

Awesome food, service and atmosphere. Extremely friendly staff, and helpful in times of need. I can't thank jakes enough for helping me and my boy's, who love talking to the delivery drivers, especially my disabled one, but it's nice to know that there is a community spirit when times are tough. Thank you again, and I recommend the chicken and onion rings Burger.
