I have passed the restaurant several times on the bus and finally had the chance to pop in. The restaurant although small is comfortable and Hungarian themed. The staff were so attentive and helpful I really was so surprised. The last took her time to talk to us about the palinka and explain when it is typically consumed and gave a recommendation that was spot on. The portions were huge and the food delicious. I will def be back!

What an absolute amazing place!! Was a bit of a trip as we live in Colchester but definitely worth it and won't be our last time! I'm from Hungary and wanted to show to my British partner a bit of my culture before we actually go to Hungary. This place is so authentic, so welcoming and warm I could not stop smiling all time when I was there, reminded me my grandmother's kitchen, really heartwarming place and not just for Hungarians! The staff was super lovely, polite and friendly.. And the food!! No complaints at all, we shared a starter and dessert, had two lowely main courses all tasty and really bringing back the taste of Hungary! Had a bot shop around in the grocery shop next to it, so I'll enjoy my hungarian wine tonight.
The only one down side of this place is that it 65 miles away from me :)

Amazing food. Best Pork shank I've ever had , so tender. Cute atmosphere and amazing attention to detail. U definitely feel like you're in Hungary for a few hours! Passionate staff also, one of the waiters was explaining to me the origin of the different wines.
