Terrible Experience! Called up and made a reservation for 2 and then arrived at the restaurant to be seated by the delivery driver, sat there for 20 min waiting for our drink/food order to be taken when he finally came over after I had called him numerous times he then told us that it would be an extremely long wait for food as he’s busy with deliver orders (in other words go somewhere else) which he could of told us on the call we made 30 min previous or at least when we walked in instead of seating us and leaving us there for 20 min.

Oh my, definitely one of, if not the, best curries in Oxford! I've had takeaway from Cafe Spice several times and it never disappoints. Large portions of absolutely delicious curry and big naan at very reasonable prices means that this place can't be missed. Today we tried a few curries we hadn't tried before for a bit of variation, and all of the wild cards turned out to be just beautiful and tasty. Delivery was super quick and the food was piping hot when we got it. If you like curry, you need to get it here!

Tried Cafe Spice and ordered the chicken korma, big mistake. It was way too sweet, like someone confused the sugar jar with the salt. There was zero spice. If you're craving dessert, just skip the gulab jamun and grab this korma instead, it'll do the trick. Unfortunately, that's not what we were going for.
The only silver lining? They gave us an onion salad we requested, which we later found out they usually charge for, so I guess... thanks? It was also poorly packaged, but to be fair, we did ask for it that way.
If you're looking for authentic Indian flavors, you'd be better off finding another spot. But hey, if you can't handle spice and have a sweet tooth, this might just be your dream dish. For the rest of us, pass.
