There’s something effortlessly endearing about The Art Cafe. From the cheerful yellow building to the eternal “soup of the day” that never seems to change to the unbranded condiment sachets that feel oddly nostalgic—it’s honest, unfussy, and full of character.

We sat by the old sash windows, slightly ajar to let in the spring air.

I had a lovely falafel salad on a bright spring Saturday. My friend, whose here for 6 months from France, had the much loved British classic, jacket potato wirh beans and cheese. The portion was generous, ingredients fresh and crisp and the falafel nicely spiced, herby balls of fried goodness that were light and airy inside.

If you're looking for a reliable lunch spot, then TAC is always a good option.

This great little gem of coffee shop, discovered they now serve my favorite style hot chocolate. The price is reasonable for the area and a great choice to choose from. They take cash and cards which is very helpful and important as too many places in Oxford have gone cashless. Seating is upstairs and you can do takeout.

The location is so good, which is at the centre of the Oxford. Art Cafe has very good breakfast. The Cafe tastes good. The most important thing is that the environment is so nice and you can see the people go in and out of the Westgate shopping center. They also put beautiful decorations in the restaurant. The restaurant has two floors and we like the top one

Great cafe, healthy fresh food, nice coffee, friendly staff and atmosphere.

Stopped here for breakfast and dinner in the same day when I was in town for a conference. Delicious fresh porridge and hearty no-nonsense jacket potato- just what I needed on both occasions.
