As I travel around following a local Derbyshire Football Team, my travels brought me to the Oxford Area. Did my usual 'Google' for the best Fish & Chip Shop. My Haddock & Chips were AMAZING. Freshly cooked, well Seasoned & so Tasty. The friendliness of the Owner & Staff was fantastic. It was also great to see so many 'Delivery Guys' collecting Pre-Orders. Great Community F&C Shop and would recommend everyone to go there ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Thank You 🙂

It’s good (in taste) but feels very expensive. Only one size of fish which is for around £11. With fries you end up paying somewhere in between £14 - £17. It feels a bit much for just fish and chippy. Their portions are sizeable but still, there is only one size. Apart from that the taste was good, staff was friendly and wait time short so I would defo come back again.

I came to visit Alice's Fish and Chips with a large party (of 10). We found the staff extremely friendly and welcoming us to the U.K. and gave us an unforgettable fish & chips experience. The service was amazing as the staff continued to give us generous portions as well as some complimentary sides as a kind gesture. Not only was the service good but the food was delicious as well. The cod was well fried and went very well with the garlic mayo sauce as well as the curry, not to forget their fried chicken which was juicy as well. I would highly recommend Alice's for your fish & chips experience over the overpriced options at the bars. I would definitely go to Alice's regularly if we had one in the United States.

Best fish & chips shop in Oxford! Fish is always cooked fresh and is delicately battered with huge chunky flakes and the spicy chicken wings knock spots off any the colonel makes! The team who work there are always jovial, happy and take time to chat and have a laugh with you! Can’t recommend this place highly enough! Oh and if you want a chicken wrap, this is the ONLY place to go also!

Great fresh fish and chips. The fish is cooked to order so you may be waiting 10-15 minutes, but it was worth the wait.
The chips were cooked perfectly, not something that is common in fish bars these days.
The fish was also perfectly cooked and the batter light and crispy!

Best fish and chips ever! Soft, flaky cod with a crispy exterior, generous portion of chips. Extremely friendly staff. We could have stayed and talked for hours. A high recommendation from some very impressed and grateful Canadians!

We stopped at Alice's because it was on our route to another stop, and we were so glad we did. This was my personal first experience with fish and chips (I'm from the US), and I am now a total fan. I love the blend of salf and vinegar on the chips, and the COD was superbly done. And the helpings were so generous. I wish we had an Alice's here in Ohio.

We found Alice's fish and chips shop via a google search as we live outside the area - London. Our families had booked a house to stay in around 15 mins drive away to celebrate Diwali. Everyone decided traditional fish and chips would hit the spot so after some searching, the reviews on google definitely didn't disappoint. Our order was quite large, we spent around £70+. The food was super fresh, portions huge, really tasty and staff and owners who we chatted to were so attentive, made us feel welcome - overall a great vibe.

If you a looking for a traditional fish and chip shop with tasty food and prices that won't break the bank and are not too far to walk or travel , we would highly recommend a trip.
