Their pizza is a particular highlight, with the dough undergoing a 36-hour fermentation process before it's ready to be enjoyed. The passion for authentic Italian extends beyond the main courses. Italiamo Trattoria serves Julius Meinl Italian roast coffee, a brand not commonly found elsewhere in Oxford. Having successfully run their coffee shop for five years, the owners are excited to bring their culinary vision to a full restaurant setting. They've even applied for a pavement licence, hoping to create a lovely al fresco atmosphere for enjoying a drink with a cheese and meat board as summer approaches. I ordered the Caesar Salad and Casarecce Al Forno Alla Siciliana, both of which were absolutely delicious. They perfectly captured the essence of an authentic Italian dish. I can confidently say that I made the right choice when I followed the advice of the restaurant’s lady.
