This family-run spot is well-regarded for its authentic French flavours, serving up everything from freshly baked croissants and pastries to a wide array of generously filled baguettes, paninis, and savoury croque-monsieurs. Prices are considered very reasonable, especially for its central location, making it a popular choice for a quick lunch break or a relaxed coffee. The Covered Market itself is a vibrant hub, celebrated for its unique shops and diverse culinary offerings, providing a lively backdrop for your meal. Sofi de France is praised for its quality ingredients, with some baked goods reportedly sourced fresh locally. Whether you're after a classic French brie panini, a warming jacket potato, or simply a well-made latte, this cafe provides a delicious and convenient taste of France. Many visitors enjoy people-watching from the tables just outside the cafe, taking in the sights and sounds of this historic marketplace.

The food is delicious. Smells delectable, tastes flavourful. Very reasonable prices. Really big portions. Super quick service. I had a wonderful experience. Good value for money.
Tried their eggs and toast- it comes with some salad and filter coffee. And their spanakopita was absolutely mouth-watering.
Would definitely recommend for quick bites.

This is a passable location for a quick snack. There was nothing special about this establishment; the food was not great, and the service was very slow. The staff members who were working were quite friendly, though. I would recommend this for the price, as it is a very lunch-friendly menu. However, I cannot recommend it based on the ratings, as it doesn't match my experience.

This is a small family run business. The staff, mainly women were friendly and thorough with service. It’s a small restaurant in the Oxford covered market. Its white and black decor makes it look lovely. For a family of 4 I was looking for a place with affordable breakfast options and Sofi De France didn’t disappoint. If you’re in the covered market and looking to eat, please visit them. They have a variety of options including baguettes, sandwiches, hot drinks and fresh orange juice. If I visit Oxford again, I’m surely visiting them again.

Lovely cosy cafe serving Mediterranean food. We had a lovely tasty spinach and herb pastry and earl grey tea. Very reasonably priced. Friendly service. Great choice of paninis. And sweet treats.

Great place to eat, best baklava in Oxford the variety in sandwiches is also good. The fact you pay extra to eat in was new to me but as I only really get take out it was nice to get food for less. Good portioning for price :)
