Seriously good food packed with flavor! I was kind worried when putting the takeaway order after reading some bitter reviews, but then there wasn’t much choice ( so starving can’t think!) so I hit GO. Man that was a great move! The delivery was faster than it shown in UberEat, and the Madras Chicken and mixed tandoori just fulfilled the spicy level of the day!
I will definitely order again!

Doing takeout in lockdown and has some great vegan dishes and beers. 😋

Was about 15 minute wait and had a pleasant chat with the barman. He told of how, in normal times, the place was alive with a buzz and music and people.
The canopy outside was filled with diners and smokers who sat peacefully as they watched the rain falling outside.

The take-out food was lovely - came with a lovely extra potato dish. My dish was vegan and "Hot" but was actually not bad, which was grand.

Suggestion would be a new menu outside (the existing one is misted beyond recognition).

Then I tried to leave... and they told me it was the Hotel California and I never could. Still there now, but don't think anyone will notice until the end of lockdown. 😉

Ordered set meal for one off of website. Choose from drop down options. Was called and said you can't have that. Even though I chose off website correctly. They said their own website was wrong and rather than keeping a customer happy they prefer to call and harress you into changing your order.

The food was good, edible. Tried chicken biriyani which did not gave great taste but the kebab was great.
Worst service, no manners from the staff, rude behaviour, they asked us to pay the service charge forcefully, when I spoke with my rising voice the guy started fighting and pulling my jacket. But the owner was really great, handled situation well.
Worst staff I have ever seen.

Very good curry. Great service. I had an excellent chicken Korai. No draught beer, but they do have pint-sized bottles of Cobra and kingfisher. Tasty chutneys, but no lime pickle. I would go back here next time I'm in Oxford. Recommended.
