I recently visited this pub on the banks of the Thames for a quick stop while my daughter was paddling on the river for the DofE. I was greeted by a friendly bar manger and a friendly local, so while this is a local pub for local people, tourists/passers by are very warmly welcomed. The pub is in a lovely position and it has a equally lovely atmosphere. Prices are very reasonable. If I am ever in the area, I will return for something to eat.

We only stopped for a drink halfway through doing the Thames Path, such a lovely location and with a huge warm welcome. One to come back for something to eat, maybe stay even. Lovely and clean and everyone just seemed so welcoming.

I had a lovely stay here. My room was furnished simply but well and to a high standard. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The food was great value. The atmosphere was great and the location glorious, right by the Thames. Well recommended.

Lovely location by the River Thames and a great stop if you only want a drink while walking the 'Path'. The building and decor is a bit 60's but the reason I have given one star is the food. Put bluntly, don't eat here, the food we had was hopeless.
