Second time visiting for Sunday Lunch, sat in the garden which is a real hidden gem. Food was good, very traditional which is exactly what we wanted on a lazy Sunday. We both had roasts I had beef which was nice and pink and herself had pork. Service was pleasant and the staff where friendly and efficient. The only downside was it seemed very quite. Which was great from our point of view. I am sure considering how lovely the garden is it will be a lot busier come the summer.

I love my new local, the Vine. The landlord is a charming font of local knowledge and the landlady is a wit! All staff are lovely and friendly, good range of drinks, and great food. Nice warm fire fire the winter months, spacious garden with play area for the summer. Very clean loos. An all round winner that welcomes everyone and provides a proper pub experience for a reasonable price! The building is wonderfully old and historic, a must see.

I'm rating it above average for now, cos though I like the village vibe, I haven't been able to grab a meal yet in my many visits. The timing seems not to work as they close for a couple of hours midday.

It has a nice outdoor area which is usually not full when I visit. However, it should definitely work well if you're with your own group.

Whilst staying locally, we were looking for a proper country pub with great food. The Vine Inn was recommended and didn’t disappoint. We received a warm welcome and an overview of the menu. A great selection of traditional favourites available. Lots of beers and wines to choose from too. The pub is quite spacious and I was very impressed with the large garden. Highly recommended.

We went for mothers day lunch! We were promptly sat at our table with a jug of iced water. Good job we had the water as did not see anyone again for 50 minutes when we had to ask if we could order some drinks and then food. The place was not overly busy, 8 tables including us.
The guy who served us seemed to being working solo and it was only his second time working there. (No complaints with him).
The food arrived an hour and a half after the table was booked and was edible but nothing more. Basic at best.
The jokes from what seemed to be the manager were borderline rude.
Such a shame as could be a lovely venue.
