Visited Sunday 31st Aug at 3.30 with my grandchildren . The restaurant was virtually empty , we were seated and given menus ( not children’s had to ask for them ) . We ordered two children’s meals and two mains for adults and drinks . At this point we didn’t feel very welcomed , almost a problem being there , we waited approx 30 mins for the children’s starters carrots and cucumber and got them after we asked where were they. The mains eventually came and were fine , ( we were proberly the only customers then ) we felt awkward being there , and had to ask for every part of the service , mains finished we waited and waited for the children’s pudding , a difficult one ice cream !. In the end we again called the waiter to ask where they were and he went to the kitchen area and shouted something and they appeared , the whole experience was poor and unprofessional ,I would have made a complaint there if I hadn’t had my grandchildren with me . The male waiter appeared to have an attitude , god knows what it would have been like with a lot of customers . I don’t expect this sort of service , we should have had a good experience , I did tip and regret it now . I have only made the complaint because you gave me a card to ask for feedback. Thankyou for spoiling our visit to Oxford.

Walked in for dinner tonight and was greeted by a lovely member of staff I believe her name was Katie! She was so lovely and waited on us from start to finish, made our experience as well as the food being exceptional. Will absolutely be coming back again, had the most wonderful evening.

One of the best vegan experiences for me. Loved the delicious lasagna & the heavenly vegan chocolate caramel cake! I couldn’t believe it’s vegan when I took my first bite! They are so careful to allergens & dietary restrictions! Very special thanks to Fredricka. She was very careful & super caring in helping us with the food order. Fantastic service & food! Can’t wait to visit the again just to eat the vegan dessert!

Update 1 Mar 2025: there is good service and there is amazing service. Georgina was so friendly, thoughtful and professional that I have had to give her a special shout out. She genuinely enjoys working in Zizzi Oxford and it makes my dining experience extraordinary!

Ben is an extremely friendly waiter. He goes the extra mile to make sure I liked his service. With his charming smile, handsome looks. What else could make the experience better? Food and drink business is always tough. Especially more so for F&B business in Oxford. Which is why I treasure Ben our waiter so much. He is such a kind soul and went out of the way to make our meetup lunch a pleasant one. I love the way he jokes with customers. And how he splendidly dishes out the plates and speaks to us in the most cordial way. We need more service staff like Ben. Please send our regards to this handsome cordial lad!

We were super hungry after the Oxford tour. The guide told us that if you want to grab some quick food, we could go here. The wait time after the order was excruciating. With a bunch of hungry kids, you can only imagine the scene.

The food was decent but I really wish they could have served us faster.

The food was absolutely delicious. The calzone was especially amazing — very tasty and filling. Portions are large, so you definitely won’t leave hungry.
The staff was very kind and attentive. We were served by Benjamin, who was a very pleasant and friendly guy. Great service and a wonderful dining experience overall. Highly recommended!
