Absolutely horrendous!!
Poison on a plate! With an arrogant attitude to match!
I ordered the croque madame for lunch on Saturday 30th November 2024. It didn't look right from the start, a soggy greasing mess with a strong smell, but I didn't want to make a fuss as I was with a group of friends so I barely touched it and just picked a few bits of ham out of it.
As soon as I left the restaurant I started feeling unwell and within 3 hours was violently sick and again sick throughout the night. It took me 2.5 days to feel human again!
I have an exceptionally strong constitution and just don't get sick, anyone with a less robust stomach who would have eaten it all would surely have ended up in hospital!

Astonishingly their attitude was just as awful.
At the end of the meal the manager asked if everything had been ok, so when asked I mentioned the croque madame had not been good and I hadn't been able to eat it. He totally ignored me and cleared the plates of the table to turn his back to me!! He expected praises and was not asking for genuine feedback.
That was adding insult to injury, I hadn't had a meal and I was totally blanked.

Following my 2 days of food poisoning I contacted them to tell them what had happened and assumed they would profusely apologise and refund me my meal.
But they did not apologise and certainly didn't offer me a refund. Giving them time to consider their response I contacted them again 2 days later but I received the same arrogant attitude.
I have never had such a bad experience in a restaurant and I have never written a review before!! But people need to be warned how dangerous what is sitting on their plates could be!
