Details

Tucked away upstairs on the first floor in Oxford's historic Covered Market, Georgina's offers a vibrant and welcoming escape with its eclectic, colourful decor and bohemian feel. This independent café, located at 80a The Covered Market, is a popular spot for both locals and tourists seeking a relaxed environment for a casual meal or coffee break. The walls, adorned with vintage movie posters, and the mismatched mugs of tea contribute to its quirky charm and unpretentious atmosphere. Known for its friendly staff and community vibe, Georgina's provides a cosy retreat where you can enjoy delicious food while soaking in the energy of one of Oxford's most iconic shopping areas, which dates back to the 18th century.

Georgina's Cafe Deli Oxford is celebrated for its generous portions of homemade Greek and Mediterranean cuisine, all offered at affordable prices. The diverse menu features an array of freshly prepared dishes, including popular choices like Greek salads, spanakopita, falafel wraps, and both meat and vegetarian moussaka. They also cater well to various dietary needs, with plenty of vegetarian and vegan options, such as the hot vegan mezze plate. Whether you're in the mood for a hearty breakfast, a light lunch like a bacon baguette or smoked salmon bagel, or a sweet treat like baklava, Georgina's aims to satisfy every craving. It's a place where you can leisurely enjoy your food, perhaps with one of the daily papers they keep on hand.

Georgina's Café is a hidden gem in Oxford's Covered Market! The food was really delicious, and you could tell it was homemade, full of flavour, and very well seasoned. The prices are very affordable, especially for Oxford town centre. I asked for an iced frappe, a traditional Greek drink that wasn’t on the menu, but they made it especially for me, and it was delicious. The cozy atmosphere and friendly staff made the experience even better. It was a very, very good experience, and we will definitely be back!
