Real ales and classic pub food await you at the Seven Stars, an old-world inn featuring charming bare beams and scrubbed wooden tables. This 400-year-old coaching inn, rescued from closure by the local community, sits invitingly on The Green in Marsh Baldon, just a short drive from Oxford's bustling city centre. Step inside to discover a cosy ambiance, perhaps by the log fire in winter, or enjoy the pleasant surroundings of the lawned garden, a perfect sun trap in warmer months. The pub prides itself on a menu crafted with fresh, local ingredients, offering a modern twist on traditional pub classics alongside unique Indian food options, with vegan and gluten-free choices available.
The Seven Stars is more than just a place for a pint and a meal; it's a community hub that caters to various events and offers a welcoming atmosphere for everyone, including furry friends. The pub features a redeveloped barn that serves as a comfortable dining space with direct garden access, and it's situated next to one of the largest village greens in Europe. Whether you're unwinding after exploring Oxford's historic sites or the beautiful Oxfordshire countryside, this dog-friendly establishment with ample parking provides a memorable experience with friendly service. Look out for their special events like curry nights, quiz nights, and even beer festivals.
