We went on a Sunday evening and service was great. We enjoyed the game.
The food was of good quality but the portions were too small. £138 for 2 later (with no additional courses and drink for 1 person), we were not full!
I’d hesitate to go back any time soon due to the poor value for money.

I visited six by Nico in Oxford on Saturday with my partner and we were slightly underwhelmed with the experience. The restaurant itself is very nicely decorated and was full when we arrived so there was a good atmosphere(there isn't any where to have a drink before your meal so you need to arrive on time otherwise you'll be turned away like some others in the queue before us).

We did enjoy the food, we weren't blown away but it came well presented and was explained well by the waiters/waitress when brought out, the problem was how long it took, some courses took over half an hour to come out and when they are very small you end feeling hungry the whole time you are there(which was around 2 1/2- 3 hours in the end) aswell as not being overly hot once you receive them. Our waiter did offer a drink to share off the pairing menu while we were waiting which we appreciated and the service we received from him was very good.

The drinks were nice, only bottled beer available but my partner had a cocktail and that was very good.

Overall we did still enjoy our evening but it's very expensive for what it is, £100 for the food and to come away still hungry was disappointing and our bill for the two of us came to over £180, That's with a few drinks as well but compared to our visit to dirty bones in Westgate the week earlier we paid around £100 less and left with full bellies, so unfortunately we probably won't be returning.

We visited Six by Nico for the Italian Roadtrip menu. The tasting menu, as always, was creative, beautifully executed, and full of surprises. Each course was a journey in itself which was artfully plated and thoughtfully explained. The wine pairing was equally impressive, enhancing the flavors of each dish with seamless precision. It felt like every element of the evening was carefully curated to create a full sensory experience.

Our waiter Silas, was not only knowledgeable and passionate about the food and wine, but he also brought warmth, personality, and genuine enthusiasm to the table. He took the time to walk us through each course, answered our questions with patience, and made sure we felt taken care of every step of the way.

We thoroughly enjoyed the food and our time at Six by Nico, thank you!!

My partner and I chose this venue to celebrate my sister's birthday, it was my sister's first experience of menu tasting as well.

The venue was wonderfully decorated, which added to the great atmosphere we experienced.

The service was great, although they did miss bringing a cocktail out to us at the end of the meal, however, we couldn't grumble as everyone was friendly, with good humour and a welcoming demeanor.

We visited for the nostalgia menu, it didn't disappoint, giving us that throwback to the 90's. Each course was well explained and delicious!

We will be back!

We were there for the around the world theme, and overall the food was pretty good. The pork belly was definitely the highlight, and the lamb sausage was a bit dry and a bit of a miss, everything else was just good, nothing too mind blowing. Overall the vibe was pretty nice, even for a busy Saturday evening. Not a huge fan of the game aspect, and thought it made the experience a little strange, but overall had a nice time. Will probably be back if the cuisine is something that sounds interesting, but probably not otherwise.
