Our server Ellie was excellent. She complemented how she liked my daughter’s hair and was really supportive when it came to making decisions on the drinks.

We will definitely come again.

I haven’t been here in years! And tonight me and my girlfriend had the best time it was brilliant! Food was 10/10 and the staff was top notch, we was served by Ellie and she was very helpful with everything especially as I’m fussy with food!
Highly would recommend coming here for a night out!

The service is great the cocktails are nice but they are delivered very slowly on the bottomless brunch. So you do not get the feeling its bottomless. I would also say the core selection of cocktails are super sweet and not very boozy on the bottomless brunch menu. The best cocktails they do are not on the brunch menu. The cocktails onthe standard cocktail menu are excellent but they are also very expensive one round for 4 people will cost you over £50. I would recommend the potato and eggs on the brunch menu.

The service was friendly enough but I got frustrated towards the end as even though it was quite quiet, three separate bar staff missed me and served others first who had joined the queue for a drink after me.
Drinks were theatrical enough but I've been to much better places with much better drinks at much better prices.
If you're in Oxford and want a bit of so showmanship for a drink then come here but it is wasn't good enough to encourage me to visit a second time.

Just had an incredible experience. The cocktails were absolutely spot on, and the vibe was the perfect mix of chill and fun – I could have easily stayed all day. Our server, Purva, was super friendly and really made the afternoon special. Everything from the drinks to the service was top-notch, making it an unforgettable experience! Can’t wait to come back for more!

What an incredible experience! From the moment we walked in, the team made us feel right at home, even without a booking.

Big shoutout to Alek and his colleague for their top-notch service, polite, professional, and just the right amount of attentive. The food was delicious, the drinks were spot on, and the atmosphere was perfect.

Honestly, it was the best service we've ever had, and I can't wait to come back. Bravo to the whole team!

Had a fantastic night at The Alchemist Oxford for my girlfriend’s birthday! The cocktails were incredible—bursting with flavor and so creative.Our waiter Ojas was awesome, super friendly, and gave spot-on cocktail recs. He even managed to arrange a surprise birthday brownie for my girlfriend despite the busy night, which made it so special. Highly recommend, especially with Ojas taking care of you!

This place is worth the hype and the money. The cocktails are wonderful, mixed beautifully and drunk far too easily - and many come with a show. It is a clever and fun idea and the only thing I didn't enjoy was how short the experience was. Will be back. Also, some of the best vegetarian food I have eaten in a while.

I recently visited The Alchemist at Oxford Westgate and had an absolutely amazing experience, all thanks to our server, Purva. From the moment we sat down outside, she made sure we felt completely taken care of. Her service was outstanding — she was so sweet, enthusiastic, and genuinely welcoming.

Even though we were sitting outdoors, we received the best service — better than many places indoors! Purva’s attention to detail, her energy, and the way she looked after us made us feel so special. On top of everything, she also served us the best cocktails and food, which made the evening even better.

A huge shoutout to Purva — you are doing an incredible job! You made our visit memorable, and you truly are the best server. The Alchemist is lucky to have you, and I’ll definitely be recommending the place because of you!

We just popped in to grab some food while traveling. The staff were friendly, took our prawn allergy seriously, and warned us against having fish and chips as the fish might be fried in the same fryer as the prawns. It was nice of them to warn us, but on the other hand, shouldn’t a person allergic to prawns be able to eat fish in a restaurant? That’s why only 5 stars for food.We ordered their smoked board, and it was a good choice. The meat was soft and juicy, and the veggies were fresh and crunchy. The view from their terrace is spectacular. We didn’t plan on visiting Oxford this time, so it was an extra bonus for us. The only problem for us was the music, which was a tad too loud to allow for conversations, more like in a bar and people had to shout to communicate. But we’re in our 60s; the younger crowd seemed happy chatting loudly.
