Here, they smoke meats daily, crafting everything in-house for that genuine stateside flavour, from tender 14-hour smoked brisket and maple-smoked pulled pork to sticky chargrilled ribs and wings. It's not just about the perfectly smoked meats; their menu also boasts incredible burgers like the popular Burnout Chicken Burger, a variety of loaded fries, and classic American hot dogs. An American expat even declared everything they've ever had from there has made them very happy. With a casual dining style and a reputation for "amazing food" with "huge" portions, it's a popular spot, especially in the evenings, so booking is advisable.
Prepare for a true feast, whether you opt for one of their generous BBQ box meals, like the "BEEFED UP BOX" or the "COWBOY BOX," or dive into individual favourites. The Smokehouse Bun, packed with beef brisket, pulled pork, and American cheese, is a much-loved choice, as are their unique loaded fries creations, such as those piled high with beef chilli cheese or Texan pork. Only a small restaurant (I think maybe 10 tables?) so recommend booking in advance if possible. First time so we tried the sharing platter so that we could experience as much of the menu as possible... Now, we're big eaters, but still took home a box full! Service was great, friendly and down to earth but very laid back vibes. The food was exceptional - not a single part didn't go down well. Seasoned fries, salted corn, huge selection of dips, and all of the meat - ribs, wings, burnt ends, pulled pork and brisket - were absolutely outstanding and cooked to perfection. We will absolutely be back, and soon, too - especially for more brisket and burnt ends!
The service was also excellent. The staff was very friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. The atmosphere was great, with a nice vibe that made the meal even more enjoyable.
I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for great food and outstanding service. I will definitely be coming back!
