Specialising in the famed cuisine of Gaziantep, a city celebrated for its deep culinary history, this energetic restaurant delivers a genuine taste of Turkey. Picture succulent, perfectly char-grilled meats, delicately spiced shish kebabs, and a vibrant spread of traditional meze, all crafted from the freshest ingredients by skilled chefs. The menu offers a delightful journey through Turkish and Middle Eastern classics, including an extensive selection of Pides – often called Turkish pizzas – with tempting toppings like spicy garlic sausage or minced lamb. Be sure to look out for Gaziantep specialities; the region is famous for dishes like the rich Ali Nazik kebab and an impressive variety of baklava. Good Turkish food in Oxford.
Ambience good, warm and welcoming staff.
Food was good quality, especially the meat (kebabs, wings- well marinated, right consistency and burst of flavours)
We had sharing platter and chicken beyti- good quantity, definitely worth the price. Also want to mention the fresh Turkish bread which was brought first -fresh smell and soft consistency.

I decided to have my birthday dinner at Antep kitchen Cowley, Oxford. I was greeted with friendly welcome, and the attitude of the every person present was happy and cheerful!

I am a vegetarian, and being vegetarian I only have particular options to choose from, as I was there for the first time, I was feeling a bit skeptical about food and particularly how it would taste, but to my surprise the food was great, delicious even and portion size was really fulfilling. They offer complimentary Turkish bread with authentic dips as well.

For anyone- who are vegetarian or would want to try out vegetarian options there, I ordered Veggie kebab and Veggie Güvec(veggie Casserole).
The flavours are absolutely fantastic, balanced and compliments the taste and was not overpowering to eat, and somehow it was refreshing.

For deserts, I ordered Baklava- in 1 portion there are 3 pieces of baklava and a scoop of ice cream. Again, the best Baklava I ever had.

Would recommend 10/10

The staff were very friendly, I enjoyed the atmosphere and the service was lovely. Im always open to trying anything and I did enjoy the Turkish pizza but I wasn’t fond of the flavour of the pizza, I know what I picked but I wish it had more flavour to it.

I love Asian food and usually don’t visit Turkish restaurants while traveling, but I wanted to take my husband’s parents to this one. Overall, the restaurant is good, and I would recommend it. However, the service makes a big difference. The first day, we went as a big group but weren’t asked if we wanted tea, and no one brought Turkish delight when we paid the bill, despite my mother-in-law leaving a generous tip after I advised not to! The second day, my husband and I went for künefe and had a much better experience, with better service and a more pleasant atmosphere. This time, we were served by a young waiter and received Turkish delight when paying the bill. I’d recommend the restaurant and would go again, but I hope the owner trains all staff to provide consistent service!

I have travelled from Dubai and had very low expectations because unfortunately UK Turkish restaurants are very poor in quality and taste compared to Dubai. I was shocked the food felt as I thoigh I was in the heart of Istanbul. Outstanding food and service. Very impressed. I will be back next time in my visit to Oxoford. Outstanding come from a Dubai foodie!
