The Kassam Stadium on Grenoble Road is a prominent landmark, easily recognisable by the distinctive reflective glass panelling at its main entrance. This 12,500-capacity stadium has been the proud home of Oxford United Football Club since it opened in 2001, replacing their historic Manor Ground. The U's, as the team is affectionately known, recently achieved promotion and now compete in the highly competitive EFL Sky Bet Championship, bringing an electrifying atmosphere to OX4, especially in the East Stand, known for housing the most vocal home supporters. The stadium is uniquely designed with three stands, offering good views from all areas, including dedicated family sections and facilities for away fans in the North Stand. Beyond the thrill of matchdays, visitors will find a bronze statue of an ox, unveiled in 2008, a nod to the club's heritage and the city's emblem.
More than just a football ground, the Kassam Stadium complex functions as one of Oxfordshire's largest and most versatile conference and exhibition centres. It boasts 38 flexible meeting rooms, including the expansive Quadrangle Suite which can hold up to 600 people, and unique exhibition spaces flooded with natural light. These facilities cater to a wide array of events, from large corporate functions, banquets, and trade shows to smaller meetings and private celebrations like Asian weddings, with a dedicated events team on hand to assist with planning and execution. With over 2,000 free parking spaces and its location just 15 minutes from Oxford's historic city centre, it offers convenience alongside its comprehensive amenities, which include state-of-the-art audiovisual equipment and tailored catering options.

But, it’s a game of football, tickets are cheap, standard is pretty good, atmosphere is okay and it’s easy to get in and out of. Pretty good for a family or if you were taking a group of kids.
