The shop window was extremely impressive. The lemon meringue pie and banoffee pie were delicious!
I especially enjoyed the passion fruit brûlée.
In average you are at it for around £4.00-£5.50 per item. You are paying for hand made items, quality and skill. I had a chat with Cindy - she was welcoming and friendly. If you are after a specific item it is best to call ahead and she will put it aside.
A little feedback: We visited a few times and enjoyed all of it. Except 1 item. The mushroom garlic quiche. The garlic over powered and caused a harsh bitter taste. We may have been unlucky and got a whole garlic piece. It was so concentrated in the middle. Or it may have been the last pour of the bottom of the jug?
We had 8 afternoon tea’s (5x standard, 1x gf, 2x veggie) for a birthday celebration. To say that the result was way beyond what was expected is certainly an understatement.
Well worth sampling for yourselves.
