I discovered Jericho comedy within my first month of moving to Oxford in 2023. I have to say I've since been one too many times, bringing friends as well as visitors (who still speak about it). It's kept Oxford fun(ny)! and it's guaranteed always good for a great price and a great vibe. I don't know how I would've entertained myself these last 2 years without it.....

I absolutely love this place, it really is a true gem in Oxford, and I heartily recommend you visit. I've been with friends, I've been with my (adult) kids and I've been on my own and each time we have loved every minute! A great little venue and Alex, the host, is brilliant, incredibly welcoming, very entertaining and never fails to bring in a great line up on a Saturday evening. Just go!

I admire anyone that can stand up to make folk laugh, and last night four eclectic individuals did their best to entertain the Jericho Crowd.

They raised a few laughs between them, which was the point I guess, so that's a success!

What wasn't so good was the overall look, feel and cleanliness of the venue. It was grubby at best and someone should spend time giving it a clean as I'd like to come back

I discovered this comedy show over a year ago while searching online, and I’ve been hooked ever since! I’ve brought my friends, my whole work crew, and honestly, I’ll keep coming back. Every single show has been absolutely hilarious! It’s the perfect spot for a date night, a fun night out with friends, or even team bonding, everyone always leaves in tears (from laughter, of course!). The drinks are insanely affordable, the staff is incredibly friendly, and the atmosphere is just unbeatable. If you’re looking for a guaranteed good time, this is the place to be!

Been here at least a handful times and is always funny and fresh.

A marked contrast to how Jongleurs used to be ad nauseum + 'crush the hecklers'. Even the comedians say what a lovely audience it is!

Format: 18:15 for 18:30 sit down (be early... or front row!) I turned up at 7pm and they had a seat... although it usually sells out.
There is then usually an MC (Alex) and four comedians do about 20 mins each. Used to be six comedians but I get why four as it helps with timing + keeping tickets to £10.

Suggestion would be: merch! Also franchising - I think this format could work in other parts of Oxford (e.g. Cape of Good Hope on Cowley road) or in Witney / Banbury / Reading).
