A marked contrast to how Jongleurs used to be ad nauseum + 'crush the hecklers'. Even the comedians say what a lovely audience it is!
Format: 18:15 for 18:30 sit down (be early... or front row!) I turned up at 7pm and they had a seat... although it usually sells out.
There is then usually an MC (Alex) and four comedians do about 20 mins each. Used to be six comedians but I get why four as it helps with timing + keeping tickets to £10.
Suggestion would be: merch! Also franchising - I think this format could work in other parts of Oxford (e.g. Cape of Good Hope on Cowley road) or in Witney / Banbury / Reading).
