They cultivate a variety of grapes including Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Pinot Meunier for their English Sparkling Rosé, alongside Rondo for red wine, and Seyval Blanc, Phoenix, and Orion for white wines. Committed to organic principles, all wines and ciders are produced without pesticides, additives, or chemicals, reflecting a passion for pure, naturally grown produce. Visitors can also meet the vineyard's five adorable alpacas that roam the fields, adding to the idyllic pastoral charm.
Sunnyhill Vineyard welcomes visitors for pre-booked tours and tastings, available daily, including evenings and weekends. These intimate experiences offer a look into the heart of family-run winemaking, from grape to glass, and can be complemented with local cheese and nibbles or a more substantial ploughman's lunch. Beyond wine, the vineyard produces organic sparkling cider and even offers alpaca walking experiences. The wine and cider were very good, you could definitely get the home-made vibe. Lovely chat about the wine with Illir who's truly passionate about what he's doing. Definitely coming back in summer!
