Booked the 6 seat party bus with royal it was so much fun. Beautiful inside with leather seats tables and party lights. Our driver Arslan was so helpfull and lovely . We can't wait to book again.

I have used Royal many times and find them extremely reliable, prompt, and the drivers unfailingly courteous. Chatting with them has been most educational. Bravo! Re-reading this review a year or so later, all I can say is — just as excellent as ever. Brilliant!

I had prebooked a taxi the day before to take me to a bus station from where I was going to take a bus to the airport. A taxi did not show up at the time I booked. I called, and someone said to give it 10 minutes. I called back after 15 minutes, and they said all of the taxi drivers were actually fulled booked for the next 30 minutes. They didn’t offer this information in the beginning—if I had known there were no drivers available for the next 45 minutes after my booking, I would have walked to the bus station with my luggage. Instead, since I waited, I missed both of the buses that could have gotten me the airport in time. I took a very expensive Uber instead all the way to the airport ($140 USD).

Warning for anyone who prebooks a taxi and assumes it will show up when you need it! There was no warning from Royal Cars when I prebooked that a driver would not be there when I had scheduled (it was also for 8:15 am, not in the middle of the night). If I had been notified earlier that it would not be possible to be picked up then, I would have made other plans. Hoping for more transparency in the future!

I booked a taxi for 5.50am from a village outside Oxford, to the train station. Taxi didn’t turn up. Operator didn’t notify me. I had to call and have a very angry conversation before another taxi was sent. Waited almost 30 mins outside in the cold.
Taxi driver that showed up in the end was very nice but operator service is clearly a shambles.
Obviously the company has made NO EFFORTS to improve its service despite the negative feedback provided here (what’s the point of offering an email to complain to I ask?).

I had pre-booked a cab the day before to get me to the bus station. The bus was to take me to the airport. The morning of my pre-booking, the cab never arrived. Royal Cars never called me—I had to call them to confirm that no one was coming. By the time I was able to find a ride, I was going to miss my bus. I had to a book an extremely expensive Uber straight to the airport.

Royal Cars was completely unapologetic on the phone. They did nothing to solve my problem. A stunning lack of professionalism and empathy.
