Beyond the rooms, guests can unwind in the Tempus Spa, which includes a 15-metre indoor swimming pool, sauna, steam room, and three treatment rooms for a range of therapies from massages to facials. For the active, there's a fully equipped gym and, of course, the renowned 18-hole championship golf course designed by Rees Jones, which has hosted major tournaments and challenges golfers of all abilities with its 135 bunkers and four lakes.
Evenings can be spent at The Sakura Restaurant, located in a peaceful annexe with a stunning picture window overlooking the golf course, offering a menu of inspirational dishes. For more casual options, The Lakes Lounge provides a serene spot for drinks and informal dining, while The Spike Bar is perfect for dissecting your round of golf or catching up on sports. We had the most amazing weekend.
All of the staff were superb, everyone was really polite, helpful and accommodated every request we had. The staff on the day made sure everything ran smoothly, the food was excellent and the service was quick,
The views were so special and made a great backdrop for all of our photos, the bridge was an extra special addition with the golf buggy’s being a fun extra.
A special thank you to Anthony, the wedding coordinator, for everything. He went so far above and beyond for us to make our day perfect.
Didn't use the spa facilities but the rooms were immaculate and the food delicious.
Drinks expensive, exceeding London prices (£9 for a pint of Guinness!) which was a bit of a shame.
Overall, excellent and will definitely return.
Everything was lovely from check in to check out. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Both our massages were amazing. The room was very clean.
Food in the hotel was delicious and the service was 10/10.
The only negative I would say is that the spa/pool area could do with some serious updating! It felt a bit dirty, loungers around the pool wasn’t very attractive. We didn’t use the sauna or steam room. The changing rooms could also do with a huge update and re-fresh!
Otherwise it’s a great place and we had a fab stay, we will be back!
The hotel laid on a buffet lunch for our group, and although it looked fairly modest at first glance, it was actually far more filling than expected, good quality and plenty to go round.
Rooms were clean and comfortable even if the decor is a bit of an odd taste, the staff were helpful throughout.
