Your expert local guide will navigate the famously narrow and winding lanes, taking you to secluded villages, iconic towns like Stow-on-the-Wold and Bourton-on-the-Water, and significant landmarks such as the hauntingly beautiful 15th-century ruins of Minster Lovell Hall and Dovecote, known as the region's most haunted village. These seven-hour excursions are entirely flexible, allowing you to tailor the itinerary to your interests, whether that's lingering in a favourite spot, discovering a specific attraction, or enjoying a traditional pub lunch.

Your journey begins in Minster Lovell, a village steeped in history and atmosphere, where the romantic ruins of a 15th-century manor house sit peacefully by the River Windrush. From here, your bespoke tour can wind through the Windrush Valley, unveiling idyllic villages with honey-coloured stone cottages and thatched roofs, often missed by larger tour groups. Nearby Witney, the largest market town in the Oxfordshire Cotswolds, offers a glimpse into the area's prosperous woollen trade history with its 17th-century Butter Cross and the impressive St Mary the Virgin church. Undiscovered Cotswolds ensures you experience these gems at your own pace, with comfortable, air-conditioned transport and a knowledgeable guide passionate about sharing the Cotswolds' deepest secrets and most picturesque landscapes.

I cannot recommend Ian’s tours enough. Started with a very easy pick up at Oxford station, then we headed into the Cotswolds. We had a great mix of time to explore ourselves, and group walks around the villages. Ian always had wonderful recommendations on what to see/try/eat. We also got to see a great blend of the more well known villages and the hidden gems. Having seen how others drive in the cotswolds, I was very glad to be in such skilled hands (and glad I wasn’t driving). Overall I cannot recommend these tours enough. I will be recommending to family and friends, and will be back for more.
