Beautifully crafted cheese hampers are also available, making for a perfect gourmet gift or a taste of Oxford to take home.

After shopping here for most of my life I will not go back after was treated like dirt today by the unprofessional staff. Waited for almost an hour in a queue, at my time to be served despite being 6ft tall with a rainbow knitted jumper and bright coloured hair I was ignored by the young girl. When I said 'Sorry I was next' in a slightly irritable voice she gave me a filthy look, didn't apologise and just snapped back 'I didn't see you' I pointed out that it was staff who had asked me to move up the counter, to which the manager started making comments like 'there are other cheese shops'. I started getting quite stressed and anxious, I am a blue badge holder and was in a lot of pain waiting in the queue. My mum turned up and explained what happened to my mum and the girl just interrupted and started getting rude and defensive even though was not actually talking loudly or addressing her. My mum had to ask what I said to which they had to admit was just my 'tone of voice' and the manager then apologised but not very sincerely. Really bad way to treat customers over nothing and poorly trained staff, will happily buy cheese at the wonderful friendly Jericho cheese shop in future.

I do recommend Oxford cheese company and they organised my wedding “cake” after going there and tasting. Slightly disappointed on two fronts.
First point is what that it was meant to be delivered in person along with information on how to put the tiers together and this was not done but a courier was sent instead.
Second point is that I did asked for a smoked cheese and this was not sent.

Visited the witney food and drink festival today and visited the stall. The two guys were awful! So unprofessional, I'm not sure if they were drunk or not . One guy was shouting at people going past with a pint and cigarette on right by the stall , not very hygienic 🤮at least go off the site slightly and have a cigarette. The other guy was force feeding a dog cheese , the owner was not happy and said no and walked off. Just overall unprofessional and not a nice vibe .

Finest cheese shop in Oxford. Incredible selection of UK and European cheeses as well as wines, chutneys and accompaniments. Expect a price rise on EU cheeses post Brexit. Don't even want to begin imagining what 100g of comtè symphonie will set you back in the new year. Luckily their selection of British cheeses is top tier so maybe you won't miss french and Italian delicacies so much!
