Boasting a prime spot on Park End Street, Thirst Bar has been a vibrant late-night cocktail destination in the heart of Oxford since 1999. Renowned for its extensive list of cocktails, including those featured in its popular "Stupid Hour," the main bar area offers an awesome range of spirits to kickstart your evening. As the night progresses, DJs take to the decks seven nights a week, transforming the space with a mix of dance, house, pop, R&B, and chart hits that keep the dedicated dance floor buzzing until the early hours. For those seeking a slightly more relaxed vibe or a breath of fresh air, the large, covered, and heated outdoor terrace provides ample comfy seating and even has its own bar, ensuring you don't miss out on the energetic atmosphere.

This long-standing independent venue is split into four distinct areas, also featuring an opulent chill-out lounge that's available for private bookings if you're planning a special celebration. Recent visitors have praised the fantastic staff, the quality of the drinks, and the overall warm and club-like atmosphere, with some bartenders even designing unique cocktails for guests. Located centrally, it's a key player in Oxford's "west end" clubbing scene, making it an easy stop for both locals and visitors looking to experience the city's lively nightlife. Whether you're aiming for a quick catch-up with friends or a full-blown night out, Thirst Bar offers a versatile and spirited setting. This bar is generally overcrowded. There is a bad atmosphere with a lot of inappropriate patrons and security that could care less.

Walked out with a bottle of beer and bouncer told me I couldn’t take drinks outside, started to walk back in and said I would finished it and he grabbed it out my mouth whilst I was drinking, spilt it everywhere and then grabbed me by the neck and pushed me away.

Have never seen such poorly trained unprofessional staff in a bar. Better places to go in Oxford.
