I usually love this venue for it's laid back approach and welcoming environment. Not today. Feel so angry that my just 15 year old daughter who was with me was not allowed in as she didn't have ID with her. Valentines date ruined - poor start to the weekend. Furious. Will be changing my membership.

Fantastic cinema, seems to be a local favourite and you can see why. Good food and drinks as well. Saw their Sunday noir screening and a W&A with Lily Franky so there’s a lot of variety to what they show.

Great little cinema in Jericho, Oxford. (built 1913) Intimate size for immersing oneself in film. The seats were comfortable with an ample size screen. You can catch some screenings that are not in the mainstream cinemas.
And Jude The Obscure bar afterwards 📽🍷

Went to see The Lighthouse here when I was struggling to find it elsewhere (Odeon is not getting my money thanks!). The room I was in had a lovely old fashioned vibe to it, reminded me of going to the pictures as a kid in my local independant. The picture was good, the sound was good and the coffee was surprisingly good. The film was also brilliant, I can't stop thinking about it a week later! Glad that I was afforded the opportunity to see it on the big screen in comfort. Highly recommended.

My first visit here and this is a wonderful old "flea pit" type of cinema. It offers some great movies and the chance to see "The Big Sleep" on a big screen was a brilliant experience. Back soon for more of this "film noir" season.
