We visited Plant Oxford on 13th March and had an excellent time on the tour! Ben and Simon who provided the tour were highly knowledgeable and knew every step of the process. They answered all questions clearly and we got to see lots of key production steps - a truly ‘behind the scenes’ experience! This ranged from the ‘ballet’ of the robots zipping around in body and white to the more traditional final assembly line (mostly human input)!

BMW’s focus on sustainability and quality as well as the heritage of the Mini brand and its long association with Oxford shone through.

In particular Ben and Simon were kind and accommodating and helped us all to get the most out of the tour. Thanks both!

A ‘must see’ activity for anyone in the Oxford area or with an interest in UK manufacturing / engineering!
