My daughters have been taking swimming lessons for 2 years. We've tolerated smelly changing rooms and really dirty tiles on floors. But I can't stand any longer some serious mistakes which a staff have made.
Last time my daughter changed her class from Thursday to Tuesday and she took a swimming lesson on Tuesday before half term break. But today( Tuesday after half term break) the staff said she couldn't take a lesson because she didn't have a record for the Tuesday class. My daughter had to stand beside the pool just watching the lesson for half an hour.
The staff said again and again he didn't know the reason.
The worst thing is that this registration problems are the third time.
I strongly advise you that you should get an email or record all conversations with the staff if you want to use the gym.
The staff hadn't said sorry before I demanded. I am totally dissatisfied with their response. The abilities that the staff proceeds are unsatisfactory.
I don't want to give any scores for their values.

Cancelled membership after hostile/threatening behaviour and extreme homophobic abuse from another gym user on the gym floor. Explained concerns in person to staff, was asked to email in - two emails, no reply. Contacted via 'make a complaint' form on website, no reply. Not a safe environment - total inaction on abusive behaviour by gym users.

I can only comment on the pools as this is what I use while I’m there. Both adult and child pool excellent. The children’s pool has toys available for all to use which makes our visit all the more fun. The temp of the water is excellent too. Toilets and showers probably the worst leisure centre in Oxford. Lockers look like they’re falling apart.

Gym is amazing for the price, with the equipment generally being first class. Staff are super nice and helpful. Also, the opening times are incredibly early, which you have got to commend the staff for. Overall 10/10.

I don't know about the gym or other facilities here but the swimming pool and has been in rapid decline since I started attending lane swimming nearly 2 years ago. Firstly, the changing rooms are disgusting, with brown water and hair all over the floor, the cubicles are never cleaned and the whole place permanently smells of pee. Secondly the pool itself is full of hairs and always far too warm. They also stopped putting Lane ropes in the pool, so you get 2 lanes and the rest of the pool is a mess of people not knowing where to swim. Several times people have requested to put in more lane ropes but have been ignored. Thirdly, I used to go quite often but they recently started taking off the times I used to go at and cancelling my reservations in the last minute. I am going to cancel my membership because I haven't been able to go in weeks
