One of the worst Park & Rides. Parking for a motorhome is automatically 8.40£ for 24 hours even though staying in your motorhome overnight is not allowed. Then you pay an additional 4£ per person for the bus. Pay terminals are far away from the coaches and motorhome car park. So you have to walk all the way to the end to park, then back to the motorhome to display the parking ticket. Then you get to walk all the way around the car park again because the coaches and motorhomes are sectioned off behind a wall with no opening through. To top it all off it is dirty and the parking lot is not in good shape. And there is only one working toilet - for men, women and disabled to share. Which is, of course, filthy and stinking as well. Oxford should xhexk out hue other cities do it - and do it so much better (especially Canterbury but also York and others).

A large car park with plenty of spaces when we visited on a Sunday afternoon. Quite a few electrical charging stations which seems sensible.

A £5 tickets gets you parking and transport into Oxford for 2 Adults and 3 kids (under 16). Alas our 17 year old had to pay an extra £4 which seems a bit unfair but there’s you go. Still cheaper than parking in town I suspect.

Frequent buses and convenient drop off points in town.

Good point to charge the car. Fortunately there are a lot of points so it is easy and fast to do it. If you have fastened app is enough to plug in the car and in a few minutes it is charged.

Parking a motorhome is very confusing. Follow the signs and find out the entry is blocked for vehicles above 2.2 m. Then find another entry and drive in till the dead end, reverse all the way back and find another entry. Once there you pay £8.10 for 24 hrs. Sleeping and cooking (even in daytime) strictly forbidden. Then take the bus downtown, that is always included in the ticket price; not here : you pay again for the bus.
The carpark is a labyrinth to get around and badly maintained.

We have a camper van which is our main mode of transport. We had to use the long stay as it did not have a height barrier. Rather than £5 for park and ride it was £8.10 for 24hrs that did not need. Then we could not use it to get the bus into Oxford to see a play, we had to buy tickets which cost another £5. The long stay is disgusting, see photos. We shall not be returning.
