This is a fun club that plays good music and has a great atmosphere, me and my girlfriend always have a good time when we come here. However the toilet situation I find to be very strange, there is door on the men’s toilets but no door on the woman’s toilets. As well as this it seems to be open for men and woman to enter and use which I think raises multiple safeguarding issues. I have witnessed many times men actively choosing to go past the men’s urinals and into the woman’s toilets which I find to be very uncomfortable and just strange. As a woman I should not be sharing a toilet with straight men, I fear for the safety of girls going into the toilets when there is groups of men in there which I’ve seen quiet a few times. This whole toilet situation increases the chance of assault \ SA , and I believe a door on the toilet is necessary in a nightclub.

I cannot fault the staff or the atmosphere of this club whatsoever, me and my girlfriend have been here multiple times and we personally do love it, we feel accepted and safe here. the only thing i genuinely have an issue with is the toilets. i am all for the inclusivity however it is only the women’s toilets that don’t have a door, it is simple an open space for everyone. Men have privacy but there is no space for women to feel like they have place to go should they need one. Assuming the club isn’t only restricted to LGBTQ+ there are a lot of cis gendered men (including security) using the women’s toilets which i personally do not find safe at all, after hearing about how some of the security treat people. Again i cannot fault this club in terms of everything else in fact its probably the best club we’ve been too in a long time, but i do feel like there needs to be a safe place for women to go, maybe there’s a reason i’m not sure but either way i don’t think it’s right.

I am writing this review to express my extreme disappointment with the way my friends and I were treated at Plush last night. As a group of young queer girls, we were targeted and mocked by the bouncer. My friend was denied entry because she couldn't recall her postcode due to her dyslexia, and the bouncer's response was incredibly insensitive and unprofessional.

Instead of offering assistance or understanding, he chose to ridicule her, which was both humiliating and discriminatory. This behavior is completely unacceptable, and it created a hostile environment for all of us.

The overall experience was appalling, and I would strongly advise others to avoid this club if they value respect and inclusivity. The staff's actions left us feeling targeted and unwelcome, and I will not be returning.
