Well we saw this place just after eating in FiveGuys and wished we had gone in there..So today we went there specially,,
Well big mistake the food was horrible, it was cold apart from the chips which came hot after my wife complained it was not what we had expected,,,so we had a refund and left ,,,if you want Greek food ,then Greece it is..
I think everyone else who put a review of this place on here there is something wrong with you all and have never tasted proper Greek food.

Sizzled Oxford

Fast service and the food arrived quickly. Taste was standard nothing amazing in particular. However, the portion sizes were quite small for the price. Overall, the food was okay, but nothing particularly stood out. Unfortunately, I wouldn’t go again.

Food so good I left a review on Deliveroo AND now I’m leaving one here. Guys, this might be the best Greek food place I’ve encountered in Oxford. On Deliveroo at that. The portions were large, these guys don’t skimp out on the meat (though ngl the fries and salad were less than the meat but who’s complaining? Not me lol). I tell you, I haven’t savoured a meal this passionately in a very long time. So delightful. Worthy of more than the 3.9 current star rating. Keep it coming!

Four of us had lunch here on Saturday, 1st November 2025. Each of us had a soft fizzy drink and a main meal. The total was £50.00 (spot on, not rounded). I would say that this is an acceptable charge for the quality of food presented. The atmosphere is a bit too much like you are eating street food, whilst being charged for sit down prices. The meat was tender, but the portions were not big at all. Similarly, there were three pieces of halloumi cheese, but four pieces of bread in the vegetarian meal. So this is what brought the star rating down a bit, as did the fact that there is only one toilet (disabled friendly) which makes it difficult to wash your hands quickly before eating. All in all, an alright place for a quick bite in the center of Oxford, but certainly no culinary experience to tell others of when you share your tales of exploring Oxford.
