Portion is very generous, service is super.
I always have my Go-to dishes from them and the girl behind counter( name is Kelly) can remember everyone’s favorite and get the order sorted in flashing speed.
Highly recommend Black Bean Beef, authentic and hearty flavor with juicy tender beef slice. My forever top 1.
English partner loves the Kung Pao Chicken. Honestly it’s not how Chinese normally cook this (we’ll use much more dry chili and peanuts and dry wok fry all ingredient) but the sweet n sour taste is actually not bad at all. I’d shut my eyes and imagine it as sweet sour chicken and enjoy the whole lot.
Oh! Don’t forget to order Salt& Pepper spare ribs! I still haven’t a clue how they marinate the ribs but they carry tons of smoky savory flavor. Great as finger food if left overnight.
If you fancy something with earthy warm spicy kick, order a box of Singapore rice noodle ( remember to tell Kelly how spicy you’ll take). It’s cooked with curry paste and every thread of noodle is covered with tangle curry sauce( not the wet curry noodle way. More like fluffy dry fry noodle. I’ll save half of noodle and add cooked bean shoots/mushroom/bok choy for a next day lunch)
They used to offer unshredded aromatic duck, but recent order of duck came as shredded, which might be easy to serve for others but I prefer it coming as whole leg/half duck cus it retains more juice. Maybe I should leave a note saying “no shredding😚”
they even remember their returning customers, which adds a personal touch :)
While the prices may seem high at first glance, the generous portion sizes offer excellent value, with takeaway containers filled to the top. Everything is always fresh, well-prepared, and thoroughly enjoyable.
