What made the situation even worse was the topping. The banana slices placed on top were clearly not fresh — one of them even appeared to have fungus on it, which is completely unacceptable when it comes to food safety. That’s not just poor quality, it’s a serious hygiene concern and could potentially make someone ill.
Overall, this experience was extremely disappointing. Between the undercooked waffle and the spoiled fruit, it felt like there was little to no attention paid to either preparation or basic food standards. I would strongly recommend that the establishment reviews its food handling, cooking processes, and quality control before serving customers again.
This place changed my mind TWICE. The first time was in person about 2 years ago (that’s where my atmosphere ratings are coming from). I never knew hot chocolate could taste so good. But then the second time was when I knew that this place is worth the hype for sure.
Now I know you’re thinking, ‘is it worth the price?’ And my answer is yes. Because they’re serving luxury. This is the kind of thing you’d see on social media and think influencers are lying about but for once it’s actually true.

I ordered the Oreo French toast and mango milk cake for delivery after having a particularly bad day. I’d seen all the negative reviews about stuff being delivered in bad shape but I was so desperate that I’d prepared myself for the worst as long as I got my food.
Let me tell you - they DELIVERED! As in, food came sooner than estimated delivery time. Food was still warm. Food was evidently fresh (babyyyy that French toast - soggy where??). Packaged with care. It was so well put together I thought I was getting freebies! It was just the pour over sauces and ice cream lol - but I was just as happy as if they were free.
Y’all I ate that meal up like a woman starved. I’m little miss “I hate chocolate” no more. I actually have a taste for it now. Congratulations, Treatz - you’ve cured 20-something years worth of disdain for chocolate. I *will* be ordering again.

Both were extremely friendly, welcoming and hospitable throughout my visit. The premises were impeccably clean and tidy, and the prices were very reasonable.
