Really great pub and lovely beer garden. Did a great function for my friends 30th and the food was very nice.

Weird set menu that was more expensive if you preordered from it for events to deliberately try and overcharge. I imagine this will change eventually as it meant everyone in the party only ordered one meal due to otherwise being overcharged. Generally ordering in advance or on a set menu should be cheaper or the same price as you are giving the kitchen a heads up ahead of time as a help to the business.

Came for dinner. I had the steak special, which was cooked perfectly, a generous portion and a great price. The wine list was also great.

But the stand out from the evening was Ethan, who was outstanding. He was enthusiastic and the perfect level of attentive.

Don’t usually leave reviews, but really wanted to highlight the service.

We’ll definitely be back, hoping Ethan’s on shift.

Good place for drink, but food? Nah…
Very average, I can’t say the food is even good, the lamb tasted really gamy, I only had one and I could not finish it.
Overall, we didn’t enjoy it at all, such a shame. We were excited to eat in there

Not extensive but decent menu and service was quite nippy. On a cold February night it was quite cool inside even though fire was blazing. Decent IPA served. Parking can be a problem, but there are some on stret parking locations nearby.

A cozy place for a pint, snack or meal. There was a nice fire going and service was very friendly. I haven't been for a proper meal yet but the beer, nibbles and puddings I've tried thus far have been good. FYI - the chocolate tart is dense.
