Met some friends as was ‘half way’ and really enjoyed our time here. Very good value and clean. Good deals on the various pub food options. The children enjoyed it!

A special ‘shout out’ for Jess. Hard working, warm, very helpful - a great manner - excellent customer service. Thank you.

Hungry Horse pub with good value food and drink. Large garden which could definitely use some children's play equipment and next to a busy railway. However the service was pleasant and really efficient and food was good value for money and tasty.

Came in for lunch today and had a really nice meal. Food was fresh, came out quickly and was great value for money.

Alex was really friendly and made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. It's nice to go somewhere where the staff genuinely seem to care.

Will definitely be coming back.

Dear Sir/Madam, My Husband & I Popped into you for lunch @ 1.15pm approximately. My husband had Chicken Burger 🍔 with Gravy & I had Chicken, Bacon Sub but when the waitress put my dinner on the table the sub fell apart & she laughed & said opppssss ☹️ I then started to eat my dinner only to find that there was only a few strips of lettuce 🥬 & 1 small touch of mayonnaise & the bacon was overcooked 😏 I’ve got to admit that we was VERY DISAPPOINTED & have to say that we have never had any problems before ☹️☹️ You couldn’t blame the fact that they was busy cause it WASNT Just thought 💭 I’d let you know ☹️

The pub-restaurant was ok, but the food was absolutely terrible. Really regret eating here. This was in the worst 5 meals ever served in 50 years of eating out. The vegetarian lasagne looked as though it had spent the last 20 years being frozen … a touch of slop between pasta, with no discernible vegetables. Burnt underneath wasn’t the worst part. Immediately sent it back and fortunately wasn’t offered a replacement meal. Would prefer to starve than eat there again. Service was poor, not a smile to be seen, but they’re probably dealing with customer complaints a lot, so may be understandable.
