It’s been a long time since I’ve experienced service this good. It genuinely felt more like eating at a family-run restaurant than a large chain.
A huge thank you to Darren, the manager, who was absolutely incredible. He was so friendly, welcoming and went completely above and beyond to make our visit special. He even took the time to show us the beautiful artwork dating back to 550 such a lovely touch! He’s a real credit to PizzaExpress, and you can immediately tell he’s an excellent manager because his team are so happy, polite and attentive.
Eva, who looked after us, was fantastic too. She was kind, knowledgeable and gave us great recommendations, which we all loved.
The food was outstanding. It’s been a while since I’ve had a genuinely great pizza, and every member of the family thoroughly enjoyed their meal. Combined with the brilliant atmosphere and exceptional service, it made for a perfect evening.
We came all the way from London, and we’ve now found our favourite place to eat whenever we’re in Oxford. Thank you to Darren, Eva and the whole team for such a memorable experience. We’ll definitely be back!
